We strongly believe that the exceptional teachers in our classrooms are a vital part of our program’s success.
1. Friends ELC seeks to hire well-educated, nurturing and experienced individuals who also possess strong personal commitments to the education of young children. All teachers recieve CPR/First Aid certification and receive additional hours of professional development training. Teachers attend professional workshops, conferences and seminars designed to further early childhood education knowledge and skills, and to keep connected and current with best practices and research in the field.
2.Our goal is to provide an environment where teachers are valued and provided for in a way that echoes the value we place on their education and expertise. We are proud of the fact that many of our teachers have been with Friends ELC upwards of 5 years. The value we hold for our teaching staff allows us to retain teachers and benefit from their long-term commitments to our program.
3.Along with excellent teachers, we are actively engaged and connected to the day-to-day happenings in the classroom. We work to ensure that all aspects of the program run smoothly including maintaining the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services licensing compliance.
Each day our teachers create opportunities for discovery and learning in engaging and caring classrooms environments where children feel safe, secure and confident.
